MIO! I’ve got mio now and I’m really happy cos it means all the shows in the world!! ok… not really because my dad didn’t buy all the shows and starhub is much much better but still… it means more variety of shows and not always sticking to channel 5 and 8!! So there’s this channel called trace and it’s great! It’s something like MTV (not as good) and I get to watch as many music videos as I want tooooo!!!!! And get updated with songs!! Anyway, besides watching music vidoes all day, I watch this channel called sony entertainment! HA! It’s GREAT! There are many shows like top design, gilmore girls( one of my favourite!!), sex and the city and the best… TOP CHEF!! I love watching top chef! Watching them cook and all is so exciting!:) Especially the part where they have a half an hour competition! Watching them rush out a dish in half an hour’s time is so fascinating and you would be able to hear me screaming ‘HURRY UP!! 10 MORE SECONDS LEFT!’ ok… I think I really love reality shows:) Anyway, this mio tv thing is only temporarily (it’s like a trial run) and my dad said he would only re-new it if he sees me controlling my urge to watch tv ALL THE TIME… and my friend just comented on me saying I’m a shopaholic but not on buying clothes!! rather on… DVDS AND VCDS! oh well…. gotta start praying for strength to control myself or else… back to Singapore shows only!!:(

Today is the day is officially HATE cats! I was going home today where I saw a cat near my house and it kept staring at me. I was so freaked out that I started walking faster but it started following me. GOSH… It’s their eyes that freaks me out the most and I don’t know why but they remind me a lot about witches… ok… maybe I’ve been watching too much Harry Potter but still… they are weird! I remember once I went to Malaysia and was eating at a hawker center when suddenly a cat crawled under the table. I screamed like mad and jumped up my chair! ha! retarded… Anyway, it doesn’t mean I hate animals altogether. I used to own to hamster which mated like mad and gave birth to about 15 baby hamsters. And the funny thing was that after the parents died, their were still new-born hamsters… looks like for hamsters, it’s ok if siblings mate… Anyway, for some reasons, the hamsters started dying suddenly and some even went missing which was seriously pathetic! When I was little, I wanted a puppy! But my mum would always say she has three puppies at home already…(my sisters and I) Oh and I had a bird once but it was too damn noisy and shitted like crazy everywhere like a lizard and my mum was annoyed so my dad brought the bird to his office and apparently, he said a cat ate the bird… another reason why I HATE cats! HA! Anyway, I still want a puppy! Maybe when I’m older or when I ever do move out of my parents house… Who knows…

So recently my little sister got into the crazy craze of buying and collecting the latest popular books by Stephen Mayer (twilight, new moon,ect) which in turn got me hooked on too. And I have to say, before reading the book, I actually went to watch the twilight movie and boy, after reading the book, I do appreciate books more now. Not that the movie wasn’t nice (it was ok though I think the lead actor totally can’t act) but when reading the book, I found out there were actually alot of missing parts and other stuff which were changed. I kinda pity those who read the book first then watched the movie because their expectations of the movie would be higher and to see the things they imagined when reading the book gone, would be such a waste. Another good example would be Harry Potter! ARGH! Imagine how I felt when so many things from the book was cut out in the movie! Anyway, moving on, I used to read more when I was little compared to now. I guess it’s mostly because I’m hooked onto the telly most of the time. HAHA! My favourite authors used to be none other than Roald Dahl and also, Judy Blume. I used to love reading their books because not only were they funny and hilarious, but because when reading their books, I would use to feel I was transported into their world. Ok… that sounded weird but that was how I use to feel. What I love about Roald Dahl was that he never fails to surprise his readers with his silly yet smart endings or twist. Even till today when I’m feeling bored at home, I would just take of his books and start reading and I would never feel bored! That’s how much I think his books are really good and how much I love his writing. I’m still trying to find a really good book that would interest me. So far, I received a book called the last lecture from my uncle but I haven’t looked at it yet. I guess I’ll start trying to read it (also because I heard it was good) and try to read at least one book per month. After all, reading books is still the best old fashion way to use our imagination.

I am soooo in LOVE with the reality tv programme survivor! It’s funny and nice to see how a group of people survive not only in the open but with people whom they have never came across in their life. And actually if you noticed, there would always be someone REALLY REALLY weird but that is what makes the show interesting!!! it’s seriously funny to see the weird people being really weird and to top it up, they don’t know it, thinking that they are the best!! ha! if you watch the one showing on channel 5 now, you would agree with me that the weirdo now is none other than coach. He is not only weird but a drama queen or should it be king?? he is also so irritating that every time he talks, i just want to shout SHUT UP! anyway, the one who i was rooting for, tyson, got out!!:( i really liked him cause not only because of the obvious fact that he is hot hot hot, but cause he was one of the best or THE best competitor! unfortunately, he was too much of a strong player that the others found him a threat and voted him out!!! sad!!!:( anyway, the show’s ending and i guess ill be rooting for JT to win… cause the others are irritating and annoying like stephen and Taj but you never know what would happen… oh well.. hopefully the jury that votes LOVES JT!! can’t wait for the finale episode where the last two would have to fight their shit out to win!! SO EXCITING!!!

Oh how I LOVE to watch shows!!!! You can sit me in front of the tv for hours and I wouldn’t move an inch. Until the extend that I would control my bladder and not use the toilet so that I wouldn’t miss out any parts of the show! Comedies are the best. They perk me up whenever I’m feeling down. One of my all time favourite is none other than FRIENDS! It’s one of the best, actually THE best show I’ve ever watch in my tv days. Its a series revolving around a group of friends in Manhattan. I don’t know if you ever watch the show (which you should!!) but my favourite character is JOEY! He is so hilarious that he never fails to make me laugh my shit out! He is know for his simple-mindless, trouble with understanding negative criticism of his acting, love of food and the best is his protectiveness of his friends. One of the most funny and memorable episode was when he tried to scare his friends by putting his head in a turkey!! hahahaha thinking of it makes me laugh like crazy again!! Oh and Phoebe’s really cute too! Singing her smelly cat song and all. And as expected, I was really sad when the show ended, though there was a spin-off called Joey. Response towards that show wasn’t really high and in the end it got cut off. Oh wells… I still love joey! Anyway, dramas are great too. Recently, I bought the fourth season of Grey’s anatomy. It’s a medical drama and it revolves around a doctor, Meredith Grey. It’s about relationships and medical cases. It also shows the difficulties of a working mother in the hospital and not being able to find time for family which is what I love about the show because it’s very real. The medical cases are very stimulating and heartbreaking at the same time. Actually I am not sure why but I am very drawn to medical shows. Medical shows like ER and House. They are my favourite! I think it’s because of the interesting and intriguing cases shown and every time the doctors operates on a patient, Ill get very excited and in my heart, secretly pray that the doctors wouldn’t screw up. All these said, I would never ever want to be a doctor. Seeing how busy they are and having to dedicate ALOT of their time is definitely not easy. In simple words, being a doctor is equalivilent to not having a life! I can go on and on and on and on to talk about more shows but the downside is that this post will never end! Anyway, I do hope that Singapore will screen more American shows on channel five, and replace it with their stupid silly shows… well… that’s just me. SHOWS TO ME ARE LIKE DRUGS! I keep coming back for more and more and I can’t kick the habit!!:)

OH NO… school is starting again… that’s was my thought as school drew nearer and nearer. I was nowhere prepared to

start school again as i had rested for at least half a year least start school in a totally new place which was so foreign to

me. Fortunately, the first week of school was not as bad as i made it out to be. I met my classmates and they were all friendly.

The classes weren’t as bad too though i’m still trying to cope with classes which includes drawing!! ARGH!! it’s not that i

really hate drawing but REALLY it’s because i can’t…. ok… anyway the environment in poly is definitely different from

secondary school. From the way we are allowed to wear whatever we want down to the way classes are being held. I really do

miss my secondary school life and friends and surprising enough, the teachers too. No doubt whenever i see someone in poly

which was previously from my secondary school i would feel happy but it would bring sadness too as we are all in different

courses and have different lives in poly. Oh well… anyway i had my first lesson of french too and to be honest it’s not really

easy to concentrate as it starts at 6 in the evening and since i have two drawing classes starting from 9 in the morning i

would feel really tired… even thinking of it makes me feel tired. Anyway, i still try to keep my eyes open and concentrate

during the lesson because i really want to master the language so that if i ever do go to a country that speaks french, i would

be able to show-off my french! haha! Oh and there’s this ‘hill’ which i have to climb every morning which ‘helps’ me start off the

day by being tired… Oh how i wish i could use my hands and legs to crawl up the ‘hill’ instead… oh well… Nonetheless, i’m

trying to get use of poly life though i know it’s going to be kinda hard but i’m determine to get use to life here.
